What Is SOT® Chiropractic?
The Sacro Occipital Technic® is a system of chiropractic and chiropractic Craniopathy that integrates art, science and philosophy of optimizing the human innate healing systems. Reflex Pain Treatment
The general understanding about chiropractic is that we manipulate the spine in an attempt to make someone feel better. The unfortunate thing about this is that when there is no rhyme or reason to the manipulations then there is a tendency to move as many joints as possible that feel restricted, even if those joints do not need to be manipulated. Muscle tightness or guarding around a joint does not always mean that a manipulation is indicated.
Pregnancy
Chiropractic care during pregnancy is one of the most vital parts of pediatric chiropractic. This is because the potential traumas that can afflict a child prior to birth may be able to be prevented or ameliorated. Birth can be the first incident in a long chain of events that gradually reduce an individual’s adaptive range. This is made most obvious by a breech pregnancy due to intrauterine constraint.
